Hi Jeff
Long time since we last chatted.
I need to ask you a personal question and your response will go no farther than me.
I have been following your protocol for a long time now.
But about three years ago my bowel movements got a lot looser and there was a little bloody ucus in it. This has gone on for about three years. It wasn’t always noticeable but usually. I put it down to stress from a bad divorce and her unreasonable nasty behaviour towards me, I thought I was starting wit irritable bowel.
Any way to cut a long story short for 3 years or more I have been taking 10,000 D3 and 1 like extension K2, I had cut down to this before I started with loose stools etc.
I have not changed anything but stopping taking the D3 and my stools fairly quickly when back to normal ish stools with little to no bloody mucus now?
The D3 is definitely the only thing I have stopped.
Have you any thoughts on this?
I will assure you again anything you tell me will not be passed on to anyone else.
Thank you.
Regards P
HI there
that is weird….
I have a feeling that the d3 was starting some sort of healing process which requires breaking something down first to then fix it???
but 10,000 iu is not a big enough dose to complete the project???
you see most adults can make 20,000 IU of d3 while =sunbathing for 1/2 hour in the summer
so I find it hard to believe that the 10,000 iu is harming you….
I think it might be a repair process that is not completing….
amd then when you stop the d3 it goes back to “repair it later” mode??
One thing I heard from a Dr Harald Schelle who after reading my D3 book started taking 50,000 iu per day
I think
he wrote a book about it avaiable on amazon in germany and an english vesioon here on the US amazon
he took large doses of D3 and he says it healed his fistula which the other doctors had scheduled surgery for him
that is a little hole that connects the bladder and the colon I believe in his case….he was very excited….
He did his own research with his patients and found it cures glaucoma as well AND he
determined you don’t really get the full healing remodleing effect until
your blood level of d3 is 125 ng/ml or higher….
also I have found that when you take high dose d3 50,000iu day + there is actually a tendancy towards constiption
rather than diarhea as it uses up your magnesium a bit and to over come that constipation you need to take extra magnesium as well
So I have a feeling you have something going on that you are only partially healing as your dose might be too low….
so if you have the nerve why dont you try taking 50,000 i a day for 2-3 months with the proper k2 and magnesiumm and see what happens!!
Or sunbathe from 10 to 2pm everyday on the costa del sol when the sun gets warmer….
thanks for writing all the best….Jeff
PS I had cut my dose down to 20,000 a day or nothing for a few years and for some reason my shoulders both got stiff and painfull so I could not work out.
I thought they just neeed rest….but the stiffensss and pain kept changing position so I finally figured this was
some form of frozen shoulder and probably some sort of long term evolutionary repair process
I originally was thinking if I stopped d3 altogether that it would get better but it did not ….so for the last 2 months
I have been tkaing 100,000 IU a day adn lots of k2 and finally it is getting better and I am lifting weigfhts again!!!
I think the doctors have us overly -scared us about what is really a high dose by assigning such high numbers……to the doses
what used to be 25 mg became 1 million units!!! so what is 100,000 iu a day?? other than 2.5 hours of summe sunbathing….
doesnt sound that scary if you put it that way right???
